“We arrived in the afternoon on our bikes and had a very warm welcome. Bikes were stored in their garage and we had a delicious dinner with some local dishes.”

Lucy, United Kingdom · Booking.com, September 2026

“The house is right on the road, but it was still fairly quiet at night. We could park directly behind the house. Dinner on the terrace was very tasty, breakfast varied and good. We recommend the local dessert, štrukelj!”

Claudia, Switzerland · Booking.com, October 2025 (translated from German)

“A very nice family-run hotel. Everything was spot on, the food is very good and the staff, the boss included, very helpful. The location in the Soča valley is excellent for all kinds of trips. We came on the motorbike and were given a garage straight away.”

Norbert, Germany · Booking.com, October 2025 (translated from German)

“Beautiful place near Soča, awesome cuisine in hotel’s restaurant. Great breakfast, the owner was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.”

Lenka, Czech Republic · Booking.com, June 2026

“The hotel is well located for travel around the area of the Isonzo River and the historic sites of WW1. The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were very nice and the dinners we had were very nice. We have stayed here before and would stay again.”

Eve, Australia · Booking.com, July 2026

“The owner was absolutely great (he also served in his own restaurant): attentive, funny, he recommended trips and looked after us the whole time. Great food.”

Before you write

Four things worth knowing

  1. The house is on the main road

With the windows shut the rooms are quiet. If you sleep with the window open, you will hear traffic in the rooms facing the road.

  2. The rooms have no air conditioning

On hot summer nights they can be warm.

  3. The rooms are up the stairs

They are on two floors above the restaurant.

  4. No pets

We don't take dogs or other pets in the rooms.
